Reset to Amazing: Relax While You Detox

Happy Healthy Detoxing! It’s Week 1 of our new Team RLEI Reset Program to Live Amazing that will restart every 100 days. And instead of putting too much pressure on yourself at the maybe overwhelming thought of overhauling your health in a mere 100 days, the first step is to relax while you detox. Literally, relax in a soothing, warm bath. This is how we’re going to prepare our bodies, our minds, and our spirits before we embark on this journey. Give our Simple Detox Bath Recipe a try. It’s best to do it before bedtime since it might make you sleepy and is perfect for Sunday evenings as we all ready ourselves for a new work week ahead. Simple Detox Bath Recipe 1/4 cup plain Epsom Salt 1/3 cup Apple Cider Vinegar (we use Bragg’s) 1-3 drops of Lavender Essential Oil Instructions Fill tub with warm/hot water and add epsom salt and apple cider vinegar. Add essential oil with dropper if using. Soak in bath for 30 minutes or as long as desired. Note that with any detox bath, you may feel lightheaded when you get out. We don’t recommend doing this while home alone or before going somewhere in case you are tired or need help. This bath is great for soothing skin irritation, boosting magnesium levels, and overall detoxing. If you have sore or tired muscles, this will also work wonders. The other benefits extend beyond the physical. Take this time to detox your thinking. All of the negative self-talk and emotions that have led you to your current state of being or mindset, let them go. Let go of the guilt and judgments and regrets of whatever choices you have made in the past. Let go of the things preventing you from moving forward in the direction of your dreams, your goals, and your plans. Take a deep healing breath and at least try. Of course it seems easier said than done. But every journey of a thousand miles does. This is step #1. That’s all we are going to focus on in this moment. And that’s how you revive the weary spirit too. Live in this moment, in your warm bath, and welcome to the beginnings of a new, healthier you.
