Regular exercise is about consistent activity and constant movement. There are proven advantages to moderate exercise for 30-45 minutes/ 3-5 days a week. And definite disadvantages to sitting too much. Start by standing more then walking more with a base line of 10,000 steps a day. Then mix up your weekly routine with a rotating combination of aerobic and anaerobic exercises, from cardio workouts to strength training to sports to stretching.
