Reset to Amazing: Days 8-14

(Click to enlarge.) It’s Week 2 (again) of our Team RLEI Reset Program to Live Amazing. We are breaking it down into 7 steps in 7 days every week to help you reset with your wellness goals. Follow along and transform your health! The 2nd week is focused on our Diet. There are 3 options this week for giving your body a break from your previous (maybe not the healthiest) patterns of eating. If you are feeling bloated and sluggish, dependent on caffeine and fatty junk food cravings, commit to 1 of these methods to help remove toxic build-up, give you energy again, and prepare yourself for healthier eating habits. It’s really your preference: 1. Our 5 Day Healthly Cleanse and Reset with recommended Shaklee products. Do it next Monday through Friday. You replace breakfast and lunch with plant protein powder Smoothies (either Shaklee Energizing Life Shake or Energizing Soy Protein) and have a Salad (with a very small amount to no dressing-try a balsamic vinegar based one) for dinner. Here is how it breaks down: AM: 1 Smoothie with non-dairy milk (herbs, spices, fruits, veggie combinations optional) + 5 Shaklee Alfalfa Complex tablets + 1 Liver DTX Complex + 1 glass of water (with lemon wedge if possible) Snack: raw fruit or vegetables + 1 glass of water Midday: 1 Smoothie with non-dairy milk (herbs, spices, fruits, veggie combinations optional) Snack: raw fruit or vegetables (or 1 Shaklee 180 Snack Bar/Crisps) + 1 glass of tea (Shaklee Energizing Tea or other green tea) PM: 1 Salad + 5 Shaklee Alfalfa Complex tablets + 2 Liver DTX Complex + 3 Herb-Lax + 1 glass of water 2. A pre-designed 3 Day Juice Cleanse. Some of the ones we have used before are nekter (from their juice bars), BluePrint, and Suja. You can order them online or pick-up ready-made at certain natural health food stores. Do it next Monday through Wednesday. 3. Replace at least 1 of your meals with a plant protein powder Smoothie that has a serving of leafy greens in it. And replace 1 of the other meals with a Salad. (Usually breakfast and lunch work best for this.) Be sure to drink plenty of water no matter which option/commitment level you choose. If you have nagging cravings as you adjust, keep raw nuts and seeds accessible for a quick handful. If you really need something “sweet”, nibble on a small piece of purely dark chocolate-at least 72%.
