62. Happy 4th of July! Don’t let your summer appetite for all things grilled and icy take over at your Independence day feast (or your 4 day weekend). There are healthier ways to indulge in the typical BBQ fare, including lots of cold, fresh fruit slices & veggie kebobs instead of packaged, processed foods dumped on platters and in bowls. Skip the chilled sodas and alcohol, opt for iced tea. And go as light as possible on the creamy desserts. Take individual bites instead of an entire serving and fill up on water since it’s bound to be warm wherever you may be under the fireworks!
