Summer Spinks-Marasco has been a 3rd generation Shaklee Independent Distributor (or Ambassador) for the last 19 years, continuing the legacy of her grandparents and Shaklee Presidential Master Coordinator pioneers, Robert and the late Patricia Ewing. She is Owner and President of their 60 year old natural health and wellness business, RLEI, Inc. In 2014, she received her certificate from Penn Foster Career College as a Wellness Coach. And she was elected on the Masters Executive Committee as 1st Member At Large by the Shaklee Masters Advisory Board for 2020-2021, representing thousands of Distributors in North America. She is regularly asked to speak at Shaklee events and meeting across the country.
Her background is in the Performing Arts, as a creative writing major at New York University and with a former career as Managing Producer at The Theatre District at the historic Cast Theater in Hollywood. During that time, she also worked in special events, catering, and staffing for Warner Bros. studio. She is a produced playwright and poet and published a book of poetry in 2012, “Wise Words of the Waking Dead”, with illustrations by her Fine Artist husband, Mark.
In the same year, she Co-Founded the group, Portland Animal Welfare Advocates (PAWA) in Portland, Oregon, and served as Co-Organizer for 4 years. From 2015-2017, she walked dogs as a Volunteer at the Orange County Humane Society. And she has been a foster for Rooster Haus Rescue since 2021 and on the Board of Directors since 2022. She is also a regular blood donor to the American Red Cross and is on the Be The Match Registry for the National (Bone) Marrow Donor Program.
With a deep passion for traveling, she always longed for the same personal freedom and flexibility her family’s Shaklee business provided. (She has been on more than 20 Incentive Trips around the world since the age of 2 thanks to Shaklee.) She was able to regularly travel and commute between her homes in Portland, Oregon and Costa Mesa, California near their former business headquarters in southern California.
She is Mom to son, Linden, since 2018. And at one time, as a former athlete herself, was an official referee for the American Youth Soccer Organization, coaching tournament teams for younger divisions. Summer is an Artist, a natural living, environmental, and animal Advocate as well as serial Volunteer for causes she is passionate about. Her vegan family now lives in Lynnwood, Washington.
